Text Message (SMS) Program Terms

Last updated: September 7, 2026

1. Program overview

Pool Founder is business software for pool service companies, operated by Pool Proof LLC ("Pool Founder," "we," "us"). Pool service companies use Pool Founder to schedule visits, complete service reports, and invoice their customers. Pool Founder texts you about that work: who is on the way, when a visit is done, and when an invoice is ready.

Pool Founder is the sender of these messages. They come from Pool Founder's toll-free number, (866) 304-1821, start with "Pool Founder:", and name the pool service company the update is about, so you always know whose work it refers to. A pool service company that has registered its own business number with Pool Founder texts you from that number instead, in its own name. The same terms apply either way.

2. What messages you may receive

These are service messages about work you have arranged with your pool service company. They never include promotional offers or discounts.

  • Technician on the way when your technician leaves for your home.
  • Visit reminders the evening before or morning of a scheduled service visit.
  • Service report ready when a visit is complete, with a link to the report in your customer portal.
  • Invoice notices when an invoice is ready or a payment is due.
  • Review requests, only after you have rated a completed visit positively, and at most once every 90 days.
  • Replies to questions you text to your pool service company's number.

Pool Founder also texts one-time login codes to business owners and technicians who create a Pool Founder account. Those codes go only to the person signing in.

4. How you opt in

You will not receive service notifications by text until you have agreed to them in one of these ways. Each method records the date and time of your consent and how it was given.

  1. You tell your pool service company. When you sign up for service, or later, you give permission for Pool Founder to text you about your service, verbally or in writing. The company records that permission when it adds you as a customer in Pool Founder, using the consent checkbox shown below. It is only meant to be checked when you have actually agreed.
  2. You turn texts on in your customer portal. The Account page of your customer portal has a text notifications switch you control.
  3. You text START, YES, or SUBSCRIBE to your pool service company's number.

Customer consents to receive SMS notifications

Text updates from Pool Founder: service reminders, technician arrival alerts, and invoice notices. Message and data rates may apply.

5. How to opt out

You can stop receiving texts at any time:

  • Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. You will get one final text confirming you have been unsubscribed, and nothing further unless you opt back in.
  • Turn off text notifications on the Account page of your customer portal.
  • Ask your pool service company to turn off texts for you.

Replying STOP to Pool Founder's toll-free number (866) 304-1821 stops every Pool Founder text to your number, whichever pool service company it is about. To resume, reply START.

6. Getting help

Reply HELP or INFO to any message to receive the name of the sender and how to reach support. You can also email support@poolfounder.com.

7. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency depends on your service schedule. Most customers receive one to four messages per scheduled service visit. Message and data rates may apply; contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your phone number and messaging preferences are used only to deliver the messages described here. Mobile information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to receive texts is not shared with anyone. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
