Add your branding

Upload your logo and pick brand colors once — they appear on quotes, invoices, the customer portal, and service report emails automatically.

One page, every customer touchpoint

The Branding page (under Company Settings in the sidebar) is where you set your logo and brand colors. Set them once and they appear on quotes, invoices, the customer portal, and service report emails — so everything your customers see looks like your company, not ours.

Upload your logo

  1. 1Click Upload Logo (or the dashed placeholder square).
  2. 2Pick a JPG, PNG, or WebP image. Other file types are rejected with a message asking for one of those formats. Very large files are resized automatically on upload (to about 800px on the longest side), so there is no need to shrink a big logo yourself first.
  3. 3The logo saves immediately. To swap it, click Change Logo; to drop it, click the small trash button on the logo's corner.

Logos with a transparent or white background work best — in emails the logo sits on a white area at the top of the message, so a dark or colored background box around your logo will show as a visible block. Both wide (landscape) and square logos work; the portal and mobile app show it in a small rounded container, and emails give it a fixed width, so a little padding around the artwork never hurts.

Brand and text colors

  • Brand color — used as the accent on customer-facing surfaces: the header band and buttons in emails, and headers and buttons in the portal. Pick with the color swatch or type a hex code.
  • Text color — the text shown on top of your brand color (email header and button text). Choose something with strong contrast — white text on a dark brand color, or dark text on a light one.
  • Preview — a live swatch next to the pickers shows your company name in the chosen text color on the chosen background, exactly as email headers will render.

Colors save automatically as you adjust them — a "Saving…" then "Saved" indicator appears next to the Colors label. There's no save button to remember.

Where your branding shows up

  • Customer portal — your logo and colors greet customers at sign-in and throughout the portal. See the customer portal.
  • Emails — the service report email and your other customer emails (invoices, quotes, payment links) put your logo on a white area at the top and use your brand color as the accent for the header band and buttons. See service reports.
  • Customer mobile app — customers signing in on their phone see your logo there too.

Your Portal URL

Below the brand settings, the Portal URL block shows your customer portal address — your company's own link on poolfounder.com. Click the copy button next to it to grab the link for your website, email signature, or a text to a customer. The URL is read-only here; it's set by your company's portal slug.

Frequently asked questions

What logo formats and size should I use?

JPG, PNG, or WebP; other file types are rejected. A PNG with a transparent (or plain white) background looks cleanest, because emails show the logo on a white area. Wide and square logos both work. You do not need to resize anything first — very large uploads are scaled down automatically to about 800px on the longest side.

Do I need to save after changing colors?

No — color changes save automatically a moment after you stop adjusting, and a Saved indicator confirms it. Logo uploads and removals apply immediately too.

What do customers see if I never set this up?

Everything still works — portal, invoices, and emails just use neutral default styling without your logo. Adding branding takes about a minute and makes every touchpoint look like your company.
